Week #11: Vayigash: "He Drew Near"

JOSEPH'S LIFE IS RENEWED:

At this point in the narrative, Joseph's life is looking good, but he still hasn't reconciled with his brothers, and he has just put them through a pretty brutal test. As his brothers demonstrate a significant change in their attitude toward their youngest brother, Benjamin, Joseph's test begin to bear some fruit. The story culminates in a huge reunion where he reveals himself to his brothers and his entire family, including his aging father, move to the best part of the land of Egypt where they will be spared the harsh conditions the famine has created for their family in Canaan.
