KORAH'S REBELLION & AARON SAVES THE PEOPLE:
Many people know the story of Korah. It was a wild example of brazenly walking outside the will of God. The accusations levied by Korah and his "crew" were not only non-sense but they reveal the absolute hypocrisy in their complaints. It is a stark warning for us today. Immediately following Korah's rebellion, the people again grumble against Moses and Aaron. This time Aaron intervenes in such a beautiful picture of sacrifice, as he stands between death and life on behalf of the congregation. This week's reading will knock your socks off.
