Connective Threads of Proverbs Parables
In this two-part teaching we explore a possible method for understanding Proverbs that reaches beyond just the literal interpretation. The literal wisdom of Proverbs is well established and this is by no means an effort to dismiss a literal reading, however, even modern scholars recognize that Proverbs is poetry, that means metaphor, parables, and even riddles are used to teach this Godly wisdom.
