What Does the Bible Really Say About the Holy Spirit?
The Holy Spirit is a topic which is discussed to great length outside of Torah circles, but over my time in this walk, I hear it rarely discussed. It is critical that we understand the Biblical basics regarding the Holy Spirit because it allows us to better understand our time post resurrection and to better test and interpret “moves” of the Holy Spirit that are often touted in Bible believing circles. Full discloser, I come from nearly 3 decades of “Spirit-filled”, “Word of Faith”, and “NAR” style doctrine regarding the Holy Spirit. To be honest, it has take a lot of study to unwind and test much of the doctrine I learned in those circles. This video will provide a quick overview of what exactly the Bible teaches us about the Holy Spirit, what is the Holy Spirit, what is its role, and what fruit does it bear out in the lives of believers. I want to encourage you to take a moment to prepare yourselves for a broad overview of many Biblical texts, and to lay down any preconceived ideas about the Holy Spirit.
